Dream Catcher Bracelet

How to Make a Dream Catcher Bracelet: The Easiest, Most Beautiful Project.

What is a dream catcher? It’s a decoration that hangs in your house to protect you from bad dreams. The traditional materials are feathers, beads, and fabric. But with today’s modern technology, anything can be turned into a dream catcher.

What you need for this project:

- A bracelet or necklace with a chain

- A piece of cardboard

- A needle and thread

- Fabric scraps

- Beads

- Scissors

- Duct tape

Step 1: Cut the cardboard into an oval shape that measures about 6 inches by 3 inches. Then cut out 4 strips of fabric that measure about 2 inches by 3 inches each. Step 2: Place the two long strips on the back of the oval shape so they are parallel to one another and facing in opposite directions. Put the two shorter pieces on top so they are perpendicular to the others, sandwiching them in between them. You should have something that looks like.

Step One: Cutting the cardboard into an oval shape that measures about 6 inches by 3 inches.

I use cardboard because it is more durable than the fabric. You can either get creative with your design or make it easy on yourself and just cut the shape of a traditional dream catcher.

To make sure you have enough fabric, hold up the oval in front of you to see how much fabric you will need to cover both sides.

Step 2: Place the two long strips on the back of the oval shape so they are parallel to one another and facing in opposite directions. Put the two shorter pieces on top so they are perpendicular to the others, sandwiching them in between them.

The length of your strips will depend on how long your chain is.

Step 3: Sew each end of these two strips together with a running stitch so that they stay put together when you flip it over. Then, flip it over and do the same thing to the other side so all four strips are being sewn together at right angles to one another. If you want, you can stitch around the entire outside edge for reinforcement after flipping it over but this isn't necessary if your fabric is sturdy enough or you're using cardboard.

Step Two: Place the two long strips on the back of the oval shape so they are parallel to one another and facing in opposite directions. Put the two shorter pieces on top so they are perpendicular to the others, sandwiching them in between them. You should have something that looks like

Step 3: Sew the fabric together, starting in the center. You'll need to stitch along both sides of each strip. You just sewed all the edges of the fabric that are exposed when you open it up.

Step Three: Tie a knot at each end of the strip of fabric to secure it in place.

Step Four: Add beads and other decorations as desired

Now that your dream catcher is ready to hang, you just need to decide where. Get creative! You can hang it in any window or doorway of your house.

The best thing about this project is you can make one for every season! So if you want to go all out, make a dream catcher for each season so they are always available.

ection 7:.

Using the needle and thread, stitch the fabric pieces together.

Section 8: Using the duct tape, bind one end of the string to one of the points on one side of your fabric shape.

Now you should have a dream catcher with beads hanging off of it. It’s time to hang it up in your house!
